Six Flags with the A Team

We have sure made good use of our Six Flags season passes this year.  We have gone bunches of times.  We have certainly got our monies worth.  This time when we went, we took the A Team with us!  Austin, Anthony, and Aiden.  We let their mom, Ronnie, come along too.  I have to admit, this was probably the funniest trip we have taken so far. I laughed a lot!

The trip was a surprise for all of the kiddos, including Caleigh.  She figured we were going to Six Flags.  She has seen me pack for a day at the park many times.  So, she knew where we were going but she didn't know who we were going with.

We met the A Team at McDonalds and she was so excited to have them go with us.  The A Team still had no idea where we were going.  Caleigh got the pleasure of telling them over breakfast and they seemed very excited.  None of the A Team had ever been there before!

On the way to the park, Caleigh had company in the car.  Despite the smirk, he was genuinely happy to be going with us.

Once we arrived at the very crowded park, and did all of our ticket purchasing and such, we headed to Monster Plantation.  Caleigh still fears this ride but after having a small fit, agreed to ride with everyone.  She still hid under Chad's shirt while in the Marsh.

We then all hopped on the Canyon Blaster for the A Team's very first coaster ever!  Everyone was thrilled!!  I was hoping my riding buddy didn't lose his breakfast and he didn't.

We hit Bugs Bunny World after the little coaster and the shorter kids rode the bulls.

Then,  everyone took on the flying boats.  I am not a big fan of round and round as I have said before but I did ride the boats to show that they were nothing to fear.
Next up was the Convoy.  All the kids could ride this one as well.

Even little Aiden could drive as long as his mom rode in the back!

After a long wait for the Convoy, we headed out of Bugs Bunny World and Chad, Caleigh, Ronnie and Anthony went to the Mine Train while I stayed with the other two boys.

When they came back, we all went and climbed into the Sky Buckets.

By this point, everyone was getting hungry again.  So, we pulled over for a lunch break.
As soon as lunch was consumed, it was decided that everyone would ride the Rockin Tug.  It is one of the most nauseating rides there so it makes sense to do this immediately after eating lunch, right?  Of course!

No more round and round for me.  I stood outside the rides and took pictures for the next few rides.

Bumper cars were a big "hit".  Unfortunately, Aiden was too small to ride so he and I enjoyed watching everyone else bump and crash.  He was very distracted by the Choo Choo that came by the ride and was more excited about it than the cars.

Once we got Ronnie's head rattled on the bumper cars, Caleigh and I then took her and Anthony on
the Scream Machine.  Anthony was coaster fearless!  He was upset that he wasn't tall enough to ride all of them.  His mom, she was much more fearful!  LOL...  The Scream Machine was so awesome that it ripped Ronnie's hair out of its bun and then gave her an awesome headache.

We then tried to get her on the Mind Bender but she needed some recovery time.  So Caleigh, Anthony, Chad, and I took Anthony on his first upside down roller coaster.  He was a champ!

That was all the time we gave her to get herself together, because then Ronnie and Chad went to ride Super Man while I got the kids ready to hit the water park.

After everyone was throughly cooled off, it was time for the biggest coaster of them all, Goliath!  Chad and I rode together first and then we schemed to get Ronnie on it with me.  After a ride delay due to a kid with a cut finger, we finally got to ride.  Ronnie was making me laugh so hard that I had to try hard to not pee in my pants!  She just kept screaming "Do they know we are off the tracks!  I am off the tracks!  Why are we off the tracks?!"  Well, we were never "off the tracks" but that coaster is so awesome that you literally levitate off the seat for most of the ride!  Pure exhileration!

After all this, the park was closed and we changed clothes and packed up for the ride home.  We decided to stop for dinner at Chick-fil-a, but even at 9:30pm the line to get into the restaurant extened out of the parking lot and down the road.  It was CFA Appreciation Day.  So, we opted for IHOP instead.

After terrible and slow service, we eventually got food.  But, not before Ronnie spilled scalding hot coffee on her lap and mine!  At least it wasn't on the kids!

We were too tired for anything else!  Our super Six Flags day with the A Team was done!
