Olympics

HORRAY!  The Olympics are starting!  Caleigh got all dressed up for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.  She was going to spend the night with Nonnie so I told her to let me take her picture before she left.  This is the pose she gave me.



I told her to head to the living room where it was brighter so I could take a brighter picture and this is the pose she gives me.  OH!  She is such a diva! 

She was excited to watch the opening ceremonies with Nonnie and I was watching them with Mish.  Once the 100 foot evil storybook villains started to pop out of the children's beds I immediately started texting Nonnie to see if Caleigh was watching.  Caleigh is just getting used to sleeping in her bed and we have had issues with nightmares thanks to asthma medications and I didn't want her to add giant scary puppets to her nighttime woes.  Thankfully, Caleigh had gotten bored with the ceremonies and was happily watching Finding Nemo.  

Over the past week, Caleigh has watched the Olympic games as an avid fan!  She loves the gymnastics and swimming the best (and of course they put those on at 10pm or so it seems).  She is not really a fan of water polo or volleyball, but will happily watch rowing, diving, and pretty much every other water sport. 

She cheers on her country like a little champ!  I love it!
