Open House

I can't believe it.  Summer is over for Caleigh.  She starts back to school tomorrow.  Today was her open house.  She went to meet her teachers for this year.  We received a postcard in the mail a few days ago with the names of her teachers and her class name. 

This year, she is in the Sensational Sea Turtles class.  She is no longer a Powerful Panda.  Her teachers names are Lisa and Wendy.  We wondered, until today, if this was the same Wendy she had for a teacher last year.  Upon arriving at school this evening, it was confirmed that she is, indeed, the same Wendy from last year!  Caleigh was so happy!

Caleigh found her seat and then proceeded to make her door hanger very swiftly. 

She then went around the room checking everything out. 

She has a window in her classroom this year so the room had an entirely different feel to me than her previous room.

Caleigh is very excited for this new school year.

 In fact, it is about 9:30pm as I write this, and she is still fighting sleep.  This should be an interesting week!  Here's to another year of pre-school!
