Imagine It!

Day two of school this year was super exciting.  Chad was off of work that day and we planned a special surprise for Caleigh when we picked her up after school.  We called my brother-in-law and asked to borrow Caleigh's cousin, Dakota, for the afternoon.  Her dad dropped her off and she went with us to pick Caleigh up.

Caleigh was super excited to see Kota and thought that Kota hanging out with her was her surprise.  We told her that Kota was joining us for an even bigger surprise.

We then headed to Chick-fil-a and grabbed some lunch for everyone to eat in the car on the way into Atlanta.

Once in the city, Dakota became amazed by everything!  She kept looking up at the buildings and saying things like "Wow!  Look at that!  Oooooo!  Beautiful!"  She was so amazed!  She also called out to the trains, planes, and busses that we passed.  She was in awe.

We then parked and headed into Imagine It! Children's Museum.  Caleigh has been before but has been wanting to go again and thanks to Target Free Tuedays, we were able to take her again.
The girls had a great time playing with all the exhibits.

Kota was skiddish at first, but warmed up to most of the activites. She still would never sit on the tractor, milk the cow, or grocery shop on her own. She did finally slide down slides, play dress up, blocks, and paint. Her favorite thing to do was to play with the balls.

Caleigh enjoyed doing EVERYTHING!  It was hard to contain her excitement, and thankfully, at a place like this, she didn't really have to.

After a few hours in the museum, we took the girls over to Centennial Olympic Park and let them play on the playground for a little while.

We wore them out enough for each of them to take a nap on the way home.

We had such a fun day.
