Tomahawk Chop

Thanks to the same friend who gave us tickets to our first Braves game this year, WE GOT TO GO AGAIN! This time, it was Chipper Jones bobblehead doll night. The first 20,000 fans through the gate got a doll!

I wasn't keen on going this night since it was on a school night during Caleigh's first week of school, but the lure of a collectible doll of a player who is retiring after this year was just too much. I caved and agreed to go to the game and take Caleigh along just for the doll. I was glad that we did.

Before the game, we watched batting practice.  Prado, tossed a ball to Caleigh and she got to keep it.  We later got the mascost, Homer, to sign it since none of the players were signing.

In addition, we got to cheer as Chipper broke the hit record of 2700! And the Braves won the game as well! We not only got a collectible doll, but we got to be a witness to baseball history!

Awesome night!
