Red Solo Cup

Thomas' 30th birthday happened this year.  On his actual birthday, Chad, Caleigh and I went to his house and ate dinner with him and Mish.  We gave him a Georgia Bulldog UNO game as part of his present from us and Mish made him his favorite cake, german chocolate.  We ate and played UNO and had lots of fun.  He thought that was all he was doing for his birthday.

WRONG!

Mish, Granny, and I were planning his surprise party for the following weekend.  The theme?

Red Solo Cup!

Mish headed to the fair with Thomas that afternoon and we went to his house to get ready for the party!

We had awesome decorations made by Granny and lots of food and a fabulous cookie cake from The Great American Cookie Company.  They really do have the most wonderful cookie cakes!

Everyone was told to make a hat out of red Solo cups and Thomas would judge who was the winner.  The prize?  A sleeve of red Solo cups of course!

Everyone was waiting on his front porch and lawn with their hats on when they returned from the fair.
Missy secretly videoed his reaction in the car, however due to language, it would be inappropriate to share!

My mom made another game as well, and they kids had a blast playing it!

All in all, the night was a blast and Thomas enjoyed his surprise 30th birthday party!
