Caleigh's First School Fieldtrip

Caleigh's first school field trip was to Southern Belle Farm this month.  She was so excited to go.  She wanted me to come along but she did NOT want me to drive her.  She wanted to ride the bus with her friends.  So, I met her at the farm and took pictures.  While some of the children were scrambling to get to their parents, Caleigh stayed in her "school mode" and continued to listen to her teachers and follow their directions.  There were many times when I wasn't sure if she even remembered that I was there.  I let her do her thing, and just observed and took pictures.

*On a side note, after visiting another well known pumpkin patch and farm this year, I now fully realize the awesomeness that Southern Belle Farm really is.*

Hayride

Checking out the goats- yes, they were up high!

They goats were stinky

The chickens laid eggs!

Aww, bunnies!

Listening and learning about corn

It rained that morning

Leading her class through the corn maze

On the cow train

Heading to the cotton and the pumpkins

A little worn out while learning about the cotton and the pumpkins

Proud of her pumpkin she picked

After seeing the cow milked, they all got ice cream

Saying the blessing before having her ice cream

Pig races

Cheering on her favorite pig
And now, we come to Caleigh's favorite part of the whole trip..................
